And if you have more time, you could also visit Valldemossa and enjoy the cobblestone streets, gardens and La Cartuja, Chopin's residence during his stay on the island.

And if you like the sea, Mallorca is a base for hundreds of different boat and yacht excursions. Enjoy a unique moment of unparalleled beauty as you follow the coastline and discover cliffs and coves that can never be reached by land. One of the most attractive boat trips is a visit to the island of Cabrera, one of the last unspoilt corners of the Mediterranean and declared a Maritime National Park in 1991.

Great cuisine and wine for couples in Mallorca

The island’s Mediterranean soil has the perfect characteristics for growing grapes and Mallorca has a number of local varieties that are highly appreciated both locally and internationally. We suggest you visit some of the bodegas in places like Santa María or Binissalem, the latter known for the wines produced by Macià Batle or José L. Ferrer, among others. Both offer guided tours which include wine tasting and tapas.

Along the way you will also pass through a lot of charming villages where you can sample some of the most authentic and traditional Mallorcan cuisine. Discover the cellers, restaurants located in cellars which used to be used for storing and maturing wine.
