Mallorca Open tennis tournament from 17 to 24 June

The Mallorca Open women’s tennis tournament is scheduled to celebrate its third edition in Santa Ponsa in June, so make sure you book your stay at Zafiro Hotels soon, before it’s too late to get to see this great international event.
Considered one of the most important tournaments in women's tennis, it is played on the excellent courts at the Santa Ponsa Country Club. It is the only tennis tournament in Spain that is played on grass, and the quality of the courts is considered to rival the standards of Wimbledon, possibly the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world.

The tournament is organised by a team led by Toni Nadal, the uncle and manager of Rafa Nadal, and, in addition to being a major sporting event, is also an increasingly important social event, with an extensive programme of activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy both the tennis and the facilities.
The stands at the courts are expected to welcome over 3.000 fans to watch some of the world’s best women tennis players, among which both the 2018 winner, Caroline Garcia, and Angelique Kerber, world number one in 2016 and winner of two Grand Slams, have already been confirmed.
