Spartan Mallorca Race

On 3 March the Spartan Mallorca Race will take place at the Jaime II military barracks in Palma, which has 280 hectares of land and is, to say the least, a challenge. A race full of obstacles that is divided into 3 categories depending on the difficulty: Sprint (5 kilometres and 15 obstacles), Super (13 kilometres and 21 obstacles) and Beast (20 kilometres and 26 obstacles). Among the different trials you will find: jumping over walls, rope climbs fireman style or javelin throwing, although the organisation keeps the route and some more details secret so as to surprise those taking part. The mud is an interesting factor, which is present throughout the whole circuit. It can be great fun, but also uncomfortable when doing some exercises, so team participation is always recommended because the psychological support of your team mates is essential both physically and mentally. In this competition you can enjoy nature while you feel the satisfaction of putting your body to the limit in a different way. Just do it!

Half marathon of Alcudia

Another event to highlight is the VII Alcudia Half marathon, one of the main events in the north of the island where more than 500 take part in each edition. The route runs through the municipality of Alcudia, both the historic centre and the coast. There are two types or race for different levels, the 22 km half marathon or a 10 km race, and the inscriptions can be made until the actual day of the race, depending on the availability of places.
