    To protect you and your loved ones, Zafiro Hotels presents Relax & Care, a travel insurance policy (including coverage for Covid-19) so you can travel free of any worries. Our goal is that this year you are able to enjoy the unforgettable holiday you’ve been dreaming about for so long and with total peace of mind.

     

    If you have booked your holiday directly with Zafiro Hotels, you will get extensive coverage for free medical assistance during your stay as the reimbursement of any holidays not taken, repatriation costs or expenses caused by an extension of stay for medical reasons, among other benefits.

  • Main benefits included

    • The insurance provides coverage against illness during the stay, including Covid-19
    • It is automatically added to all bookings made through direct channels and completely free of charge for customers
    • The service is now available in all 12 of the hotels operated by the Mallorcan company

     

    How to get the insurance?

     

    Relax & Care insurance is automatically included in all bookings made through www.zafirohotels.com or through our Customer Care team.

  • What coverage does this insurance provide?
    • Medical assistance if you become ill during your stay, including Covid-19, up to €30,000
    • Free online health care
    • Reimbursement of holidays not taken, up to €3,000
    • Convalescence in the hotel if the patient has to remain in the hotel, up to a maximum of €1.500 (€50 for 10 days).
    • Repatriation or transportation of the sick
    • Travel expenses for a relative or companion in case of hospitalisation
    • Living expenses for the visiting relative or companion in case of hospitalisation, up to € 500
    • Early return due to the hospitalisation of a relative
    • Loss of services contracted but not enjoyed as a result of hospitalisation, up to €500

  • Will I receive a copy of the policy?

    Yes, once you have completed check-in at the hotel, you will get an email with all the policy details. However, we remind you that you can see the conditions before booking on the link above mentioned. We recommend you read the entire document carefully.

    How does the medical assistance work?

    If you need medical assistance during your trip, contact the insurer by calling +34 93 300 10 50. An agent will assist you and tell you what you have to do to get help.

    What is the coverage for assistance during your trip?

    The different circumstances covered by the insurer and the maximum amounts it will reimburse are shown below.

    1. Medical and health care in Spain. Limit: €30,000 Dental expenses. Limit: € 250

    2. Repatriation or transportation of the sick. Limit: the full cost

    3. Repatriation or transportation of other insured people. Limit: the full cost

    4. Travel for a relative or companion in case of hospitalisation

    - Travel expenses. Limit: the full cost

    - Living expenses for the visiting relative or companion in case of hospitalisation. Limit: €500 (€50 x 10 days)

    - Living expenses for a non-visiting relative or companion in case of hospitalisation. Limit: € 1,500 (€150 x 10 days)

    5. Convalescence in the hotel €1,500 (€150 x 10 days)

    6. Repatriation or transportation of any deceased insured person Limit: the full cost

    7. Early return due to the death of a relative Limit: the full cost

    8. Early return due to the hospitalisation of a relative Limit: the full cost

    9. Early return due to serious incident affecting home or premises Limit: the full cost

    10. Loss of services contracted but not enjoyed as a result of hospitalisation Limit: € 500

    11. Assistance of a professional driver Limit: the full cost

    12. Medical telephone consultation service Supplier: ARAG service

    13. Refund for holidays not taken. Limit: € 3,000

    Who does the insurance cover?
