Hotel + Flight booking policy
MAARLAB RETHINKING SLU , with CIF B76811868, ATOL license number 12023 and registered office at C/ Ramón y Cajal, 53, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife), acts as a travel agency organizing combined flight + hotel packages, in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws.
The following conditions apply to package travel reservations (flight + hotel) managed by MAARLAB through the booking engine enabled on this site:
Regarding the air
● Non-refundable deposit.
● Cancellation or modification of contracted services may incur management and cancellation fees, which the reservation holder may be responsible for. The reservation holder may also be required to pay the amounts stated in such cases, subject to the pricing conditions.
Regarding accommodation
● Cancellation policy depending on the rate selected.
Transportation booking conditions
● Refunds: Shipping costs are non-refundable.
● Online Check-In: To avoid additional costs and save time at the airport, we recommend using the airline's online check-in, usually available on the airline's website 24-48 hours before your scheduled flight departure. Please contact us if you need assistance.
● Transit visa: An airport transit visa may be required when you have booked connecting flights. If you don't have the necessary visas, airlines may not allow you onboard.
● Connecting flights: When traveling with multiple airlines, you generally have to collect and check your luggage again at each airport. Since this means you must leave the airport's transit area, be aware that the risk of visa complications is higher.
● Extra baggage fees are non-refundable. NOTE: If the purchase of a bag is not available during the booking process, please contact the airline for an extra bag.
● For flights, we recommend checking in online using the airline's website to avoid extra charges and confirming flight information with the airline.
● The fare you book may include seat selection. You can manage this option once you've made your reservation using your tracking number on the airline's website.
ATOL Financial Protection (UK departures only)
"Your Financial Protection: When you buy an ATOL-protected flight or flight-inclusive holiday with us, you'll receive an ATOL Certificate. This tells you what you're financially protected for, where you can get information about what this means for you, and who to contact if something goes wrong."
"We, or the suppliers identified in your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed in the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier is able to do so for reasons of insolvency, another ATOL holder may be able to provide you with the services you have purchased or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will fulfill those obligations and you agree to pay any outstanding amounts you owe under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also accept that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or from your credit card issuer where applicable)."
"If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the listed services (or a suitable alternative, whether through another ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Air Travel Fund Trustees may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for any such payment or benefit, you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims you have or may have arising out of or in connection with our failure to provide the services, including any claims against us, the travel agent (or your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claim may be reassigned to another body if that other body has paid sums you have claimed against you under the ATOL scheme."
Booking conditions with Ryanair
If your flight is operated by a low-cost airline, it's important to check your flight's special conditions. Ryanair 's policy requires travelers to complete an online verification process to complete the check-in process. This procedure will incur an additional cost per booking.
Travelers can complete this verification process online through their website or by checking in at the airport check-in counter on the day of travel at least 120 minutes before flight departure. To complete the process, they will need a valid ID or passport, as well as a device with a front-facing camera.
