As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, this year we have made significant improvements in our hotels thanks to the support of Next Generation funds* and the Spanish Government's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, aimed at enhancing energy efficiency in the travel industry.
- Zafiro Cala Mesquida, Zafiro Tropic y Zafiro Menorca now have state-of-the-art air-conditioning systems that are able to recover waste heat and transform it into useful energy. This allows us to be more self-sufficient with regards to our energy needs and also significantly improve our electricity use.
- Zafiro Mallorca, Zafiro Alzinar Mar, Zafiro Palace Andratx and Zafiro Palace Alcudia have all enhanced automatic systems that allow energy production to be adapted to real-time demand. We have also installed new compacting systems that reduce the volume of the waste we generate to make our waste management more efficient and sustainable.
