Canribera Byzafiro Gastronomy Sonsabater

Young talent and timeless flavour

At the helm of the kitchen is the rising-star chef Lluís Cardell, whose culinary vision is based on maximum respect for the ingredients and artisan cuisine in which every element, from hand-shaped bread to delicate desserts, is made in house. Cardell’s cuisine merges Mallorcan traditions with contemporary and Asian influences, working with local ingredients—such as Mallorcan almonds, Sa Pobla potatoes, “ramellet” tomatoes, and “brossat”, a typical local curd—to elevate each of them to their maximum expression. For him, each dish is more than just food, it’s a cultural expression and a heartfelt tribute to the island he calls home.
