Sailing on an electric “llaüt” 

Having the chance to view the coastline of Mallorca from the sea is an exceptional experience. And even more so if you have the chance to do it in a sustainable “llaüt”, a traditional Mallorcan boat now fitted with a fully electric motor and totally respectful of the marine ecosystem. 

Many Mallorcan families take to the sea in their “llaüt”, particularly on Sundays. It’s their way of enjoying the sea with family and friends in the most exceptional setting, surrounded by the serene turquoise waters of the most beautiful coves on the island.  

This experience is available at all 3 hotels in the Zafiro Palace Collection (Zafiro Palace Andratx, Zafiro Palace Alcudia and Zafiro Palace Palmanova). 

The excursions service is only for guests and will be available every Friday from June to September. Space for up to 7 people. 

The boat has been designed by the traditional “Mestres d'Aixa”, and is equipped with an innovative electric motor that makes it extremely silent and completely emission-free. Ideal for savouring all the immense beauty of the coast without hardly causing a ripple. 

There are 5 different trips available, with their cost depending on their duration. Departures are subject to favourable weather and sea conditions: 

• Port d'Andratx: Cala d'Egos · Cala Llamp · Sant Elm · Racó des Morté 
• Port Adriano: Malgrats Islands · Isla del Toro · Cala Fornells · Camp de Mar 
• The morning at sea (from 10am to 2pm) is perfect for enjoying the beautiful island light in the morning and its crystal-clear waters.  
• The sunset trip is the shortest (7pm to 9:30pm), ideal for enjoying the sunset from a very privileged viewpoint.  
• The full-day trip (from 10am to 6pm) is best suited to the most adventurous visitors and those that really love the sea. 

Departures from Port d'Andratx allow you to explore steep cliffs and secluded coves. From Port Adriano, the route leads you past the Malgrats Islands Marine Reserve, a protected enclave of exceptional ecological value. 

In addition to marvelling at all the immense natural beauty along the route, you also have the chance to try a wide range of activities in the water included in the experience. You can swim into secret coves, try stand up paddle, use the underwater scooter or the snorkelling gear… there’s also an option to book a Mallorcan picnic to enjoy on board including a number of typical local products. 

To keep in mind: 

• The Sailing Days service can only be booked by guests at the Zafiro Palace Andratx.  
• As there are a limited number of places, bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance through the hotel Concierge team or the Zafiro Hotels APP. 
• Guests must be in the boarding area 15 to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

• The magic of the silk road. 110 minutes of pampering and total care. The therapy includes a full massage with exfoliating properties that is reminiscent of the sea.
