Special Markets

 

6th Local Product Festival: the centre of Ciutadella hosts an event dedicated to local crafts and food.

  • WHERE: Plaça des Pins, Ciutadella (Menorca)

Food Festival: a market with local products from Mahón held during the traditional Virgen de Gracia festival.

Medieval Market: you must not miss the medieval market in Santa Ponsa. A fantastic show put on to celebrate the "Rei en Jaume" festival.

  • Santa Ponsa: every day on the Gran Via Puig de Galatzó in Santa Ponsa (from 7pm to midnight).

  • Muro: every Sunday in Plaza Comte d'Empùries (from 8am to 1pm)
  • Valldemossa: every Sunday in the car park of the Valldemossa Tourist Office (from 8am to 1pm)
  • Palma: Olivar Market, open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 2:30pm, Fridays from 7am to 8pm
  • Sóller: every Saturday in the Plaza del Mercat (from 8am to 1pm)
  • Calviá: every Monday in the Calle Major (from 8:30am to 1:30pm)

Mare de Déu de Gràcia festival: Mahón celebrates its patron saint day. Historic festival full of traditional folklore with all the locals getting involved.

Rei en Jaume festival: events to commemorate the conquest of Mallorca by King Jaume I that will take you back in time. Cultural events including a simulation of the landing and battle between Christians and Saracens on the beaches of Santa Ponsa, concerts and a medieval market.

Es Vermar festival in Binissalem: a festival full of fun and tradition. Exhibitions, concerts, sport, culture and a traditional open-air dinner party attended by thousands of locals and visitors to sample the fantastic wine accompanied by the typical des vermar noodles .

La Beata festival in Santa Margalida: a festival which includes numerous sports and cultural events, all leading up to the most important day: the Beata procession, the most traditional in the whole of Mallorca. The procession includes several groups of xeremier musicians, bands, floats and images recalling the life of the Beata.
